We begin this tour looking at the gateway of the
most beautiful, scenic section of the Rhein River. In this photograph,
you can see the area where the Nahe River, dividing Bingen (in the
foreground) and the city Bingerbrück (mid left) intersect with the
Rhein. The gateway to the Romantic Rhein Valley begins with a castle
on the right named Burgraine Ehrenfels (better seen at
www.bti-net.com/burgen/burg/2000.htm) and the small white building on
the left is named the Mouse Tower. |
